Summer is the perfect season for alfresco meals to be enjoyed outdoors. Fire up your barbeque and enjoy Blue Cheese Burgers with a glass of Sebastiani Dry Creek Zinfandel or Sonoma County Zinfandel.
In a large bowl combine and mix the ground beef, blue chees, chives, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt and dry mustard. Cover with saran wrap and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Preheat your outdoor grill on high. Form the burger mixture into 8 patties.
Oil the grill grate. Grill patties 5 minutes per side or until well done. Serve on fresh ciabatta rolls. Try serving with a simple pasta salad or fresh sliced fruit from your local farmers market.
